W00t! x3 This summer is filled with lovely tech gadget, apps and websites, my beloved babes! I love it.

Here’s today’s gem: the newly launched iPhone (or iPad) app named Piccing !

Piccing is stylish and sweet, perfect for a fashion-oriented girl who wants to always have her device ready with the best fashion styles of the season. The nice thing about this new service is that it lets customers order fashion items in an easy, intuitive way — what you do is click on a picture in the catalog, then click on an item of that picture (for example, a bracelet or a skirt) and add it to your cart to complete your order.

The video below is pretty explicative, I believe:

Not owning an iPhone, I tested this App on my iTunes installation via Windows XP Virtual Machine, but unfortunately I had no way to really use it. Such a pity, because it would have been so sweet! 🙁 Tomorrow I’ll ask a couple of friends if they can install it on their iPhones and let me see how it works. Maybe I’ll get to take some photos to share on this post, too! I’ll make sure to post an update. 😉

Do you have an iPhone or an iPad? If you want to try out the app yourself, feel free to do it anytime, because… the app is FREE! 😉 Yep! And honestly, I would love to hear your story or maybe see a photo or two of your experiments with Piccing. What do you think? Would you like to help me?

Just reply in a comment on this post! I’m curious. 😀

Me And Nail Files – From Age 10 To Today

Fashion, Opinions · May 27, 2014, Tuesday · 3 comments

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Mont Bleu. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was 10 when a classmate told me I have nicely round nails.

I looked at my hands and observed my fingers — yes, she could be right, they looked okay with the round shape of my digits.

“But I don’t want to wear polish,” I said with a pout.

“No need to use polish,” my classmate added, “just a good nail file to make them beautiful and cared for.”

I haven’t seen that classmate in years and I don’t even recall her name, but she was right– I didn’t need nail polish, just a good bunch of nail files I could use to shape my nails and keep them healthy and sound. 🙂 It was great!

When I turned 14, one of my aunts bought me a manicure set that contained two aluminum nail files. They were shiny and beautiful, but they got rusty over the years and several washes done wrong, so I had to throw them away. 🙁

So now I got for either of the two remaining options:

I like plastic nail files, but they tend to break easily. Sure, they’re so cheap that I could buy a thousand of them and still stay within budget, but why take so much disturb? Nah. They can break the right moment you need them and the shop nearby has closed already. Not fun.

Glass nail files are totally another story. They are sturdy in comparison with plastic and it makes for longer lasting nail files you only have to keep clean and shiny. 😉 You can save a lot of money like that.

For example, look at these glass nail files I found at Design-Glassware.com. They use pretty luxurious crystals — SWAROVSKI® ELEMENTS — and the glass comes from the Czech Republic. They’re manufactured by Mont Bleu and they’re all hand work. How wonderful, right? 😀

Design-Glassware.com says:

Use this code SCM13 to get a 30% discount in our e-shop on all glass nail files.

Guess it’s a good chance to grab some for myself! $4 and $5 are sweet prices! *_*

What about you?
