Missing them

Sorry, I know that I haven’t posted a lot on this blog of mine, but I’ve been quite busy with commission and articles work, and with the updating of my other several websites ^^ Anyway, I really miss my kids, especially Rose and Jazzy. I just barely see them by now. Even on MySpace, I know they’re busy, so I try not to disturb them with ‘miss you’ messages and everything, but yeah, I hope they’ll have a bit of free time later next month. They’re always in my heart šŸ™‚

I’ll see if I can send my son Ronald a little cute keychain I bought for him a few months ago on eBay ^^ I haven’t had a chance yet, since I’m saving up tight, but I’ll need to put away a few bucks to send him the little thing. And a drawing too.

“La Goccia Magica” and breastfeeding

Last month, on October 10th, I went to an event organized by my town leader to benefit pregnant moms and neo-moms with information about breastfeeding, and to welcome a new association here in Italy, “La Goccia Magica” (transl. “The Magical Drop”), that presented itself as a ‘sister’ of La Leche League, the international association of breastfeeding moms. I’ve been there from 9.30 to 12.30, listening to the mommy-volunteers who work for this association introduce themselves, their goals in helping other mothers fight taboos and troubles that come with breastfeeding in our current western society and their researches, together with experts in the medical field who were there to support the initiative with scientific data. It was a lovely time that I spent there. šŸ™‚ I got to meet other moms, observe them, interact with little children… feel like I belonged there as everyone else did, even though I’m only a mom-at-heart and I never gave birth before. An unforgettable experience, truly. I hope there will be another chance soon.

Not going to Germany this year

Sorry, I haven’t been updating this blog enough, really. Anyway, I don’t hear from my kids as often now šŸ™ I desperately need more sleep in the morning so I don’t wake up early as before to meet them online, and they’re being very busy with their lives, or sick with this damn flu that’s striking all over the world. I hope they’re all going to recover soon, and especially Landin; I’m very worried about his health šŸ™ I’m not going over to see him in Germany this month, because he’s not in conditions to come pick me up at the airport and all, and his wife’s pregnant and I don’t want to bother… Maybe next year, around January or February. I just hope I’ll be able to see them sometimes soon. I love them all ♥
