Motherhood of the Heart: I’m a Spiritual Mama

In this entry I’m going to tell you about a special kind of motherhood: motherhood of the heart or spiritual motherhood.

You may not have heard about it. I coined it, because I couldn’t find a type of motherhood that would suit my kind.

I am a mother of the Heart or a spiritual mama, a woman who deeply loves other human beings of true motherlove, and these people love me back with the devotion and affection that only children — sons, daughters and queer children — have.

And they do call me “mom”.

So, a spiritual mama is at halfway between an adoptive mother and a birth mother: she didn’t give birth to her children, but her love gave birth to a connection to her children’s hearts, who are now linked to hers.

This is a motherhood that’s mostly spiritual and pure. But for that, so precious and cherishable.

I so hope it gets there :(

One month and half ago, I bought this lovely pink pullover for my son Landin‘s youngest daughter, soon to turn 1 year old:

The pink pullover I bought for Landin's daughter

I really hope the package gets there šŸ™ It has been sent back and re-sent already, and this time I hope it gets there. It has a lot of unique stuff inside other than the pullover, and I’m so worried about it not being delivered or getting lost. *sighs* I so hate the post!! Let’s hope for the best…

My adorable children

My kids feel better, and savings for the trip to Germany to see Y are doing good too šŸ™‚ Overall, it’s being a nice time for all of us.

Also, my sweet G finally found the love of her life! Congrats sweetie! You make mom proud.

I know I can’t see my kids every day because of our different timezones and my increased need for sleep, but it’s alright. Long as I know they’re happy, I’m happy too, even though I can’t hear from them that often šŸ™‚

By the way, I got the card that my son Y sent to my email on my birthday (June 17th) — it’s adorable and I just cried when I read it again last night

Yesterday G and Riku received my gift package. Awww! It was so sweet when G called me on MSN all happy that she got my little present šŸ˜€

It was nothing big really, just a bonding pendant and a €50 banknote for her, and a plushie for Riku, but hearing her so happy and excited about it made me feel such a deep joy!

I love you baby *mwah*
