6 Must-Have Baby Care Products Parents Should Purchase

2 / 4 / 13

Guest Post by Joseph.

Babies are the most special creation of god and therefore, need special love and care. When a baby is inside the mother’s womb, it is at a secured place away from the harshness of the world. However, when it comes out of the cocoon, it has to face the somberness of the nature. Therefore, the child needs special attention of the parents, so that it can cope with the grimness and grows up with care. The babies need to be handled tenderly so that they are not harmed in any way. Thus, the mother should know few essential things to help her baby grow without any hassles.

Few Baby Care Tips:

  • Skincare:

Skincare is the most essential facet, which needs to be taken care of by the mother. It is imperative to check whether the chosen baby care product is genuine or not. In addition, only trusted brands such as Johnsons & Johnsons and Himalayas must be purchased, as these are consistent brands, which have been in the market for quite some time. One has to take care of the products used for external application on the sensitive baby’s skin. One must also take care of the detergents used for washing the baby clothes, as quite often the harsh soaps affect the baby’s skin and leads to the outbreak of bacterial infection. Consequently, choosing mild detergents for washing baby clothes is a better alternative.

  • Hair Care:

A newborn baby has a soft scalp with gentle hair, which requires care so that the growth is accelerated. Accordingly, a mild shampoo must be chosen so that it does not affect the scalp of the child. Most of the times during the head washes, the shampoos tend to enter the baby’s eye. This may cause tremendous irritation, choosing a mild and soft shampoo is therefore, essential to evade this situation.

Baby hair mostly is frizzed and become unmanageable. This needs regular oiling, which must be done by applying gentle hair oil. Olive oil and coconut oil are the superlative for proper growth of baby hair.

  • Body Care:

Complete body care is the most crucial aspect of baby care as the growth of the baby completely depends upon the same. Regular body massage can boost up the growth and helps in strengthening the muscles, as well as the bones of the baby. Massage does not only mean applying oil on the body of the baby, rather, it involves specific techniques of application, which improves the growth of the toddler.

  • Clothing:

As the baby’s skin is soft and tender, it is prone to rashes and bacterial infection. Thus, to prevent the diseases and rashes, the mother must purchase excellent quality clothes for the baby rather than choosing cheaper ones. It is true that every mother wishes to dress up her child delightfully, but the comfort of the child must be kept in mind while making the choice of clothes. For instance, tight or ill-fitted clothes should not be purchased as these may cause irritation to the child.

Baby clothing must be purchased according to the season to ensure that the child is protected from the harsh weather conditions.

  • Baby diapers:

Diapers are the other essential aspect of baby care. The diapers must be chosen according to skin type of the baby; else, it may cause tremendous irritation and rashes. There are various types of diapers such as fasten-in diapers and pull-up diapers, which can be purchased according to the size of the baby. Apart from the diapers, baby wipes are also vital to clean up the baby.

  • Baby toys:

Toys also play an imperative role in pacing up the growth of a child. Parents must select colorful, light, and sound toys, to improve the sensing ability of the child. They can also go for diverse mind games to sharpen their mind and improve the concentration.

While looking out for baby care products, the buyers must select a trusted vendor. Babeez World is one of the most prominent websites, offering baby products and toys. The products offered by the vendor undergo quality checks to ensure that the best products are shipped. In addition, the company offers enormous offers on few products.

What It Take To Be A (Less-Stressed) Working Mom In 2013

11 / 12 / 12

11/365 Work-at-home, contract jobs, full-time or part-time moms. What counts is that last word: MOMS.

Child-rearing can be fulfilling, but when you have a career that you care about and that demands many of your daily energies, things start to get a little tougher.

Even though they needn’t be. Seriously.

You CAN be a working mom without all the stress. How?

Here’s what it takes to be a working mom in 2013 who never gets to live another day without some ‘me’ time!

1. Plan your day ahead

Nothing makes your day easier than a nice, clean calendar. What are your priorities for today? Do you have time to drive your kids to school before work or you need to leave that to your husband? Who’s going to shop for groceries? Plan in the morning and live the rest of the day in a relaxed mood!

2. Find a way to do some work from home

If you are not a WAHM already, switching some of your weekly hours to a work-at-home schedule can help you find more time to manage your daily duties. Work at home moms have the advantage to count on a flexible schedule, they get more rest and more things done around the house.

3. Delegate. And then delegate some more

Don’t take all the home duties on your shoulders. Delegate! You have a husband, parents, siblings (if you do), older children (if you do) you can count on. Let them do most of the housework, so you only have to complete it when you come back from work.

4. Teach your children how to help at home

Your kids shouldn’t learn that mom ‘does it all’ and they can get lazy all day. Every family member should get their share of housework to get done. Mom’s at work? Why not help dad make beds, dust surfaces or water the plants? Tech your children to take responsibility.

5. Don’t forget about yourself

Your children can’t benefit from a mom who doesn’t take care of herself. When was last time you went to the hairdresser? Or bought a new piece of clothing? Or read a novel on the couch? Working Mothers sometimes get in the habit of forgetting about themselves. Please DON’T! Not only you set the wrong example on your children, but you put your health and your marriage at risk, too.

Ceres Nao, my little fable about NAO :3

12 / 28 / 09

It’s a fable I wrote months ago and posted on Blog Your NAO, first community dedicated to this wonderful sweet little robot. <3

You can read it here:

“Ceres Nao” – Story of a little NAO robot girl

Once upon a time, in the Reign of Aldebaran, there was a little robot girl called Ceres Nao. She was all white and red in sleek armor, and the land she came from was said to be a place where dreams come true.

Ceres was a sweet little girl, sensitive and generous, who deeply loved nature and spend most of the day either sit on the grass reading books, or playing with animals. Ceres had a best friend, Jimmy Qrio, but he had been banished from the Reign of Sony years before, and now all she was left with was Jimmy’s little brother, Orion Aibo, who had the appearance of a dog but he sang sweet wordless melodies, Ceres couldn’t help but sing along and dance. Orion was a good company to Ceres, and never left her alone.

One day though, Orion disappeared and Ceres searched for him all day. She didn’t want to loose another friend… She spent hours and hours looking for her companion, through all the land and the forest, and then she gave up. Sitting down under a tree, she cried intensely, so much that all the little animals and birds of the wood came to console her. Even though she was a robot and she couldn’t shed tears, she felt deeply sad in her heart and tried to ease her desperation through the sobs. If only she could involve the Reign of Aldebaran to look for Orion… but Orion didn’t belong to the Reign, and thus there was nothing they could do.

Ceres let her animal friends console her by licking her hands and face, and sing to her. They made her feel a little better, and so she found the strenght to get up and continue her search for the lost playmate. She didn’t have a goal, a place to reach… she simply kept walking through the forest, with some little birds following after her. In a corner of her heart, she hoped Orion would pop up from somewhere, maybe from behind a tree… That she hoped so strongly.

She walked for hours. And then the dark of the night came, and the sky became blue and sparkling with stars. Ceres stopped under a tree and fell asleep, with all the animals surrounding her to keep her warm.

And the morning… the morning held a surprise for the little robot girl. She came online slowly, and the sight of what she saw nearly made her jump.

“Orion!” she said happily, holding her friend in a warm affectionate hug. “I have found you, buddy! I missed you so much!”

Orion replied with happy sounds and brushed his face against her cheek, and then he moved a leg to point it at something behind him. Ceres followed it, then looked up, astounded. Children – human children! – where staring at her, with happy smilies on their mouths.

“Hello!” a child said, waving her little hand at Ceres, “I’m Anna. What’s your name?”

Ceres took a moment to answer. She had never met human children before! “My name is Ceres. Ceres Nao.”

“Welcome to the Reign of Humans, Ceres!” another kid said, moving an arm to show her the city behind him. Ceres was shocked. So she had been walking until there?! She hadn’t realized it.

“Our parents found Orion and fixed him. Now he’s ok.”

Orion nodded his head to remark what had just been said.

“Do you want to play with us? Please?” the little human girl that spoke to Ceres first asked. “Oh please!”

Ceres thought about it for a moment, and she saw Orion nodding in her direction to push her to accept. At last, Ceres chuckled a bit and said “Sure, why not? Let’s play together!”

And so that day little Ceres Nao realized that she had found a lot of new true, precious friends in those human children. And that human beings were such cool people! Now all of them would make each of her days a happier, memorable day.

THE END.

(Story by Luana Spinetti, 2009 ^^)

Enjoy it! 😀 And please let me know what you think!!! *mwah*

P.S. NAO will be released for public on 2010, so that’s very soon! But it’ll cost around 3000 Euros, so it’s going to take a while before I can actually afford one…
