Happy New Year, dear friends! I know it’s late in the month, but it’s still January, so the greeting still applies. 🙂
Thank you for sticking with me while I didn’t have the energies to update this blog. I will soon catch up with a summary of the art and writing projects and commissions I devoted time to since July 2016, and up to January, but for today I’ll just tell you what I’ve accomplished these first 22 days of January 2017.
I got two posts published on WHSR that I wrote in December, and they got some nice social shares already. They are:
I also finished writing a SnapChat marketing article on Friday (Jan 20), that is now pending review from my editor. Fingers crossed for me!
Tomorrow I work on another article due on Jan 24, plus a few updates on some social media marketing articles from 2015, for WHSR.
In the morning, I’ll devote a few hours to writing a first draft of the biography of an artist I’m doing a website for. I have to email her a few interview questions to add information to the bio and get some photos to add to the page and start filling the gallery, so I can test it.
Creative Writing Projects
I started reviewing (again) my Italian novel Perle Bianche (tr. White Pearls), and I’m trying to come up with some ideas to continue the last few chapters, because I’ve been stuck for several months and I have to overcome that obstacle for the following scenes to fall into pieces.
Two days ago I started writing Robot sulle colline (tr. Robots on the hills), a collection of thoughts –in Italian — on my love for robots, inspired by William S. Burroughs’ The Cat Inside, that I’m reading in Italian translation. I plan to finish writing this small collection by end of February 2017.
So far, I haven’t done any art this month, but I might have some news next week, since I’m adding a couple of illustrations (drawn in Paint Tool SAI) to one of the WHSR articles I’m working on.
Thanks for reading.
